The Village School is an independent, co-ed, nondenominational day and boarding private school in West Houston that serves 1,350 students from the age of 3 through high school graduation. It is the only school in Houston that offers a college-preparatory boarding program in addition to the rigorous day program and has Houston’s largest bus transportation routes serving a 30-square-mile radius.
Village High School serves academically advanced children of all ages and is an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering students the option to enter the IB Diploma Program. Located in the Energy Corridor, The Village School has students from more than 50 nationalities in attendance, making it one of the most diverse and accepting private school environments in Houston.
Along with a stellar academic program, The Village School also boasts a robust fine arts program, talented athletic teams and a large selection of extracurricular activities. To supplement families’ working lives, The Village School also provides before- and after-school care, bus transportation and an enriching summer school program.
